FH+H Counsel Joins the American College of National Security Leaders as a Fellow

FH+H Counsel Andy Turley was recently welcomed into the American College of National Security Leaders (ACNSL) as a Fellow.

The ACNSL aims to strengthen America’s national security by “informing the debate, influencing decision-makers, and educating the public” in a non-partisan manner, according to its website.

“I was truly honored to be asked to join my fellow national security professionals in this new organization,” Mr. Turley said. “Based upon the impressive array of talent and experience within the group, this is an exciting opportunity for us to collectively provide meaningful contributions to the national discussion about a wide range of security issues. What attracted me most is that we will do so on a strictly non-partisan basis, focused exclusively on the best interests of the nation.”

In his 27 years of military service with the Air Force, Mr. Turley served in a wide variety of judge advocate (military lawyer) positions, both Active Duty and Reserve, at the Wing, Major Command, and Pentagon levels. Mr. Turley retired in the grade of Major General.

In his parallel civilian career, Mr. Turley served as general counsel for two federal agencies and as a senior ethics official for three federal agencies, retiring from the Senior Executive Service in 2016.

“Joining ACNSL is such a wonderful opportunity to continue serving our country,” Mr. Turley said.
