FH+H Creates Intellectual Property + Technology Practice Group

FH+H recently added a practice group to our core capabilities: Intellectual Property + Technology. The team helps clients in all industries and of all sizes maximize brand value while conducting business seamlessly in the global marketplace.

Attorneys within this group counsel clients on prosecuting, litigating, and monetizing their intellectual property, developing and licensing technology, and strategizing to anticipate and respond to cyber risks.

"The group's abilities are not only comprehensive in terms of establishing and defending clients' intellectual property and technology assets, but our lawyers go one step further by helping clients understand how to utilize these assets to grow their businesses," Partner Melissa Cross, who specializes in trademark law and branding, said.

The new group includes six areas of service:

  1. Trademark
  2. Copyright
  3. Patent
  4. Technology Licensing
  5. Privacy, Cybersecurity, + Critical Infrastructure
  6. Trade Secret

Additionally, FH+H lawyers can counsel clients on virtually all other legal matters related to their businesses. The Intellectual Property + Technology group is our firm's sixth area of practice, adding to FH+H's Government Contracts, Corporate + Business Transactions, International Trade + Transactions, Litigation + Investigations, and Employment Law groups.

"FH+H is truly a full-service law firm for middle-market companies wanting to grow their businesses," Managing Partner Tom Craig said. "We have the breadth of experience needed to handle any legal matter a corporate client brings to us, and our lawyers have the depth of experience in each practice area needed to succeed and help clients grow, at home or abroad."
