FH+H believes in giving back to the communities that have entrusted us with so much. We proudly support the following causes:
Marlena Ewald and the FH+H team provide continuing support to Capitol Post, a leading business incubator for veterans to start a business, grow a business, or explore a new career. As part of the effort, Marlena has provided counseling to numerous veteran start-ups and small businesses on corporate formation, employment, contracting, legal documents and other legal issues. FH+H is proud to support our veteran business community and the efforts of organizations like Capitol Post.
My Brother’s Keeper is an initiative to ensure that youth, principally boys and young men of color, have opportunities to improve their life outcomes and overcome barriers to success. Since its national launch by the White House in early 2014, a number of cities, including Washington, DC, are moving to build and implement coherent cradle-to-college and career strategies for local youth.
The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.
Wills for Heroes programs provide essential legal documents free of charge to our nation’s first responders, including wills, living wills, and powers of attorney. By helping first responders plan now, they ensure their family’s legal affairs are in order before a tragedy hits. The 501©(3) charitable non-profit Wills for Heroes Foundation supports these Wills programs, giving back to the community and “protecting those who protect us.
